Project Goal: Re-envisioning the 4th and 5th grade learning experience.
Description: Kentfield has recently passed a referendum to support spatial changes. As part of this process, how the district positions 4th and 5th grade at their two buildings became a question. As part of this challenge, the district seized the opportunity to examine what learning could look like at those two grade levels.
What's Interesting? What would it mean to rethink 4th and 5th grade? How can design be used to create new experiences that support that provocation. And what would it mean to help teachers become "teacher-designers" that had the understanding and capacity to create and evolve the experience over time.
