Project Goal: reimagine the position of the librarian in Racine Unified School District.
Description: This engagement will be a two day professional development experience designed to explore help librarians define their roles in the district.
What's Interesting? Working with librarians to help them define their own direction. Using the concept of a "future-ready librarian" as a starting point but shape and extend that to provide a comprehensive picture of what an RUSD librarian is. How could librarians take on a new leadership role in the district, and what type of long-term professional development is required to shape this direction?
