Transformative Technology Tools for Inquiry and Student Engagement
Session Description:
How educators use and apply technology to the student learning experience has been an open question for decades. This question is even more relevant today, as the explosion of disruptive technologies continues to shape an ever-changing response to that question.
A fundamental aspect of any answer should focus on technology as an added value proposition that extends and amplifies the classroom experience. In this session, we’ll frame technology as a partner to inquiry that positions students as investigators, explorers, designers, and creatives that use emergent technology tools to support their learning. A generalized thread that runs through the presentation will focus on the generative capacity of technology. This session is for anyone interested in exploring strategic methods for using new technologies to support creative opportunities for teaching and learning.
