THE DESIGN THINKING CLASSROOM: DESIGN THINKING EXPLAINED

There are multiple ways to describe a design thinking approach. I have based the model used in the book on the standard Stanford d.school model. Along the way, I’ve made several modifications to their model based on my design experiences. I would encourage you to do the same - as you read the book and gain an understanding of the process, how can you create a model that reflects your specific needs and the students you work with? How can you make the process your own?

In the video below, I take you through the six steps of my model to explain how each part of the process works. I hope that this adds another way to help you understand how design thinking can work.
